NutriNudge (“we”, “us”) builds an AI nutrition app that lets you scan meals for calories, track your day, follow personalized meal plans, and chat with an AI nutritionist. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Account details you provide when you sign up, such as your email and the goal, diet preference, and allergies you set.
  • Meal and nutrition data you create — photos of meals you scan, foods you log, and the calories and progress tracked in your account.
  • Coach conversations you have with the AI nutritionist, including any photos you choose to share in chat.
  • Usage and device data needed to run and improve the app, like app version, device type, and basic diagnostics.

How we use your data

We use your data to power the features you use: analyzing meal photos to estimate calories, tracking your daily totals and streaks, generating meal plans that fit your goal and allergies, and answering your coach questions. We also use aggregate, de-identified information to keep the app reliable and to improve accuracy over time.

AI processing

When you scan a meal or share a photo with the coach, the image is processed to recognize foods and estimate nutrition. Photos are used to deliver that result and your tracking — not to identify you.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the app (for example, hosting and AI processing), under agreements that limit their use to providing those services, or when required by law.

Your choices & rights

You can review and edit your profile and logged data in the app, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or export your data.

Data retention & security

We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and we apply reasonable safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

NutriNudge is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
